What is a Service A regarding a 2006 CLK Mercedes benz?
It keeps giving me little reminders that I will need a Service A in 500 more miles. What does a Service A consist of?
Thanks you guys! I’m afraid to go to mercedes dealer because they are very expensive. I’m glad to know that it is not very major.

A Flex ‘A’ service is a minor service (Flex ‘B’ is a major) and it basically consists of an oil change (don’t forget to use a full synthetic oil that is approved under MB lubrication specification 229.5…any such oil will have this marked on the back of the bottle), change the cabin dust filter and check various other items on the vehicle.
Service A is the smaller (and cheaper!!) service, oil change etc. Just had mine done and cost me £215.00 as opposed to the £300 plus VAT quoted by Mercedes dealer, so shop around but make sure whoever does it is is eligible to stamp your service book.
