Racing Cars: What Maybach Will Do With Mercedes?
Automotive is sometimes booming and the cars racing maybe got a new trend. One of the German companies; Maybach have more prestige to exists in the automobile nowadays, but only regretable it had a very short life when it was a mark in serious cars racing. This great company had its time of glory before World War II, but they went down a bit, thus leaving to that the competition, acquires it to Daimler-Benz in 1960.
After practically being kept a winner during many decades, Mercedes decides in the year 2000 to revision to this mythical mark to do to him against BMW and Rolls-Royce, with heavy artillery. The objective is a very clear era to happen through in above to Rolls. An idea that could be obtained, but not this way.
It a bit disappointment with the bad policy they ever had, when sending to Maybach 57 and 62, they leave the glorious company in very bad position, since apart from which their models do not represent the mark, they were not competition for the Phantom. This it is only a Class S with a new grill, optical and with more luxury in its interior. None this era a real Maybach, was more than clear that there was much no future in.
The decision that Clk Mercedes volume, when sending this Maybach, it leave them to two very badly stopped, since prestige went to the sweepings. The model that could have revindicado this bad strategy could be the Excel Concept, but never reality was made.
Now the situation is that Maybach takes control over Mercedes does not say anything on the matter, but they know that they do not go to any side with these models in cars racing industry.
