How much are repair costs on an older 1999-2001 Mercedes Benz?

I’m considering a mercedes clk, probably a 1999 or 2000 with anywhere from 75,000 – 120,000 miles depending on what I find and am wondering what the cost of repairs will be on this car. Any owners out there that have benz’s from these years? Also, will it have a lot of problems or will it be a reliable car if I find one that has been well taken care of? I just don’t want to buy something and have it constantly in the shop making me go broke…If anyone can give me some insight to reliability and costs that would be great, thanks.
